Morpheus have recently completed The Lodge, a luxury ski chalet within the Six Senses Residences in Courchevel 1850. Designed to be the epitome of luxury Alpine living it is set across three floors with five ensuite bedrooms, a living area, dining area and fully fitted bespoke kitchen. The Chalet’s wellness facilities are completely unrivalled and provide the most welcome respite from a day on the slopes with a fitness room, cinema room and large spa area including a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi and treatment room.
Although designed to be spacious, the interior of The Lodge is a wealth of warmth, texture and earthiness. The architecture and hand-picked furniture pieces all speak the same language throughout the design; a contrast between polished and rough as if smooth ice is cracking, melting and revealing a hard surface beneath. This can be seen in the angular shapes of the bespoke pieces as well as the selection of luxurious finishes which include bronzed and smoked glass, veneer oak, contemporary concrete, leather, rich faux fur and Italian two-tone marble. Everything is designed to integrate The Lodge and link it beautifully to its stunning mountain-top setting.
The living area is a space of tranquillity and comfort with earthy natural tones and a wealth of textures to reflect the alpine location. This juxtaposition between cosy warmth and cold nature is elegantly continued through the room’s leather panelling with asymmetric cut lines, illuminated floating glass shelves and rough wood detailing. The grand bespoke table in the dining area is topped with smoked glass floating on two-tone marble pieces and a concrete base, combining a mixture of rough and polished material. The most stunning feature of this room is the exquisitely designed bespoke chandelier and single pendant lights. Each individually made Venetian glass piece beautifully represents a clean shard of broken ice, breathing fresh icy air through the warm indulgent space.
The Master bedroom is a soft, warm haven filled with rich chocolate-brown fabrics and timber tones with quirky angular features that we see as a theme throughout The Lodge, linking it subtly to its stunning alpine setting. The structural beams frame a magnificent triangular window that opens onto breath-taking views of the Alps that this interior so perfectly reflects.

Morpheus is extremely proud to have been appointed to work on the design of decorative furnishings for Six Senses Residences Courchevel. This world class development at the very heart of the exclusive resort of Courchevel 1850 and is home to 53 apartments and penthouses.
This unique lateral penthouse property extending to 3,500 sqft overlooking Lord’s Cricket Ground has the luxury of two vast external spaces; one full length terrace to the front of the building and a winter garden and balcony to the rear, both with enviable views.
Morpheus were presented with the rarest of opportunities to completely redesign a historic detached villa in the heart of Monte Carlo. The existing property was builtover 110 years ago in the Belle Epoque style of the late nineteenth century and has been placed under protective order by H.S.H. Prince Albert.
Chapman House is a contemporary, six storey townhouse located in the heart of Chelsea. The design of this home has been inspired by the legendary work of Colin Chapman – founder of Lotus Cars – and as a result demonstrates exquisitely engineered finishing and detailing throughout.
This project illustrates a show apartment concept and sales strategy created for a prestigious development in Singapore, located in the prime Orchard Road district. The project brief was to create a harmonious interior design and branding concept that would work alongside the originality and ambition of the development as a whole, enabling it to be effectively marketed to a global audience.
The brief for this project was to design and development manage the refurbishment and furnishing of a lateral apartment in order to attract a premium rental client. This particular project demonstrates how we are able to operate on an exceptionally short time frame and a tight, commercially led budget.
